Today the S&P 500 lost 2.60 and for the most part the market just churned sideways all day long. The funny thing that happened all day to me was something most people couldn’t see. LVS, last Friday it made a high just over $55 a share then about 2pm the selling started until it ended at $51.98. All weekend long the guys behind the scenes where going to short this stock because the party was over. Based on what, I’m not sure. So for the first hour this morning they were just so excited about how LVS was tanking and $48 or below was coming. By 10:30 the march began and when it stopped at 12:40pm, LVS was hitting a high of $53.39. You should have heard all the whining. Personally, I have no clue which way the stock is going, but I can see a trend and these guys were fighting the trend again. LVS gave a little back the rest of the day and closed up .82 cents at $52.80. When LVS does decide to tank, my stop loss will kick me out.
Portfolio up another $132 or 2.8%.
