Sweet week, LVS finally cooled.

After the disappointment in earnings in KOG and the lack of follow through on breakout, I sold it for a small loss. I just couldn’t see letting my money sit, while other stocks are doing better on breakout. So, this morning I sold KOG and bought Ford – F @ $16. The only reason I did not buy Ford on the $14.57 breakout of this years highs and better than expected earnings, is that I had no money to invest. So once KOG disappointed, sold it, and bought Ford. Ford already made me $31 of my $53 in losses after selling KOG. Keep rolling Ford.

LVS today finally showed some signs of being a real stock and slowed it’s pace. After a run from $37.59 to a high today of $55.47, LVS finally gave back .03 cents today to close at $51.95. SBUX and SCCO carried the day for me today and I just hope it hangs on for bit more. Today the portfolio added another $416 or almost 10% gain in my unrealized profits. I had a great week when you consider that my portfolio went from $2344 in profit to $4618, a change of 97%. Sweet. Hanging onto all that profit will be a challenge.

$53.56 realized profit today. November realized gain = $53.56 AVG = $10.71 a day. Personal goal = $50 a day.  5 of 21 trading days for October complete.

Unrealized and still holding: $4618

Year to date: ($2762.60)
