Well, that was ugly!! Sold three, two for a loss and one for a profit and cleared $60.24 gain realized. That is the good news because if you look down my current holdings, that is just out right ugly. Another day tomorrow to match and I will likely be cleaned out and starting the new year in a big hole. Trading individual stocks is hard and not for everyone. I’ve seen then good, the bad, and the ugly and I will just have to work harder in getting in on the front of these runs, so when the pull back happens I get stopped out on profit.
Today I got stopped out of CVI and turned right back around and bought it back when it first started trending up. Then the market collapsed more and down it went. Reason for the repurchase? Was in a very strong trend, market is still considered in an uptrend, and CVI is a energy based stock. I have three right now and since I will be paying more the pump, I might as well try to make some of it back on the market. The three are CVI, PXD, and FEXN. Whoops, I got stopped out of that to today, but did not buy that back. So I really only have two energy stocks.
Let’s hope tomorrow we get a rebound as the futures are showing a 3.5 point gain at the moment. The I told you so was, I didn’t have enough of my stocks in the stop loss black and I knew I was vunerable as stated a couple of post back.
CVI $209.26 profit – FXEN $82.98 loss – ATML $66.04 loss
