Like I said yesterday, I was all in unless something happened before 11 – 11:30am. I decided it was a little shaky but to stick with the new possible up trend and went into the C,S, and I. Yes, I ditched the I-fund. By noon or 1pm, the markets started to collapse. I kind of gritted my teeth and came to this conclusion. At least I was going to make a lower entry and as long as the market goes sideways or up from here, I will be ok. Just depends on the news that comes down the line tomorrow, because nothing new in the states has happened. It is all overseas. So we will see.
Today was the first day of the month so those closing numbers under the monthly column are the closing numbers today. Ouch!!! I actually ended up with a gain of a few percentage points, thanks to the F-fund, but now I’m out and it is in the stock funds. Kind of regretting not leaving at least 20 % in the F-fund like I originally planned. Can’t go back, so I will live with it.
More bad news! All 4 indexes, S&P, Small Cap, Nasdaq, and Dow all fired their first red flag. The international is still green. Right now at 8:40pm, the futures are even, so no indication how tomorrow will run. Good luck to all.
