Wow, LULU !!

The earning report came out on LULU this morning and she killed it. Then around 2pm the stock price was upgraded from $60 a share to $75. Company guidance in the future was also good. Today LULU was up 20% at one point, but gave a bit back by the close of the day to settle in with a 14% gain today. Way to go LULU, and tomorrow I might be adding more to the position.

You expect to see a big jump in my unrealized profit from yesterday to today because of LULU, but unfortunately I sold DECK  for a $476.78 profit. I’m not going to whine about a profit, but I was truly hoping DECK was going to run to $95 a share before a collapse in price. There is a lot of individuals shorting DECK right now, so I will keep it in my watch list and see what happens. I also added two new positions today in CY and ROVI.

The S&P 500 made another nice up move today finishing up another 4.72 point, but on a percent bases less than half of a percent. But what it did do today is clear the 1219.80 support line with the entire price bar. Now we need to stay above this line and use it as support. The chart to the left show the 1 minute, 10 minute, daily, and weekly chart and it is the daily that shows the clearance.

Today with the sale of DECK, that put me back into the positive for the month but still down for the year.

$476.78 realized profit today. AVG = $28.64 a day. Personal goal = $50 a day.  7 of 23 trading days for December complete.
