The last closing day of the month is the time for the long term investors to make their moves and decisions with the TSP. The rules for refresher. If price closes above the 10 period moving average then you stay in or get in. If it closes below, you sell or stay out. IF the C,S, and I are all buys, all the L-funds are a buy except the L-income. The L-income is used to bailout into like some bailout into the G-fund. That’s pretty much it with the exception of what do you do if price closes at or above the 10 day and it is only pennies above or below. You have to make your own decision but I think we could use the weekly and daily to help us. When that happens, we will look closer to the shorter charts to help us. Now the decisions.
S&P 500 or C-fund is a buy or hold.
The Small Cap is a buy or hold.
The International is a buy or hold.
Bonds are a sell or stay out. Shocking!!
All L funds are a buy except the L-income unless you are just scared of the stock market. Damn that was hard. See you next month to those long term investor that hate watching the markets, news, and making money decisions. See, you can do this. Long term investors that listened to the monthly charts are still beating me using the dailies, so well done you. Now go back to watching TV or living life.
