TSP closing numbers as of 11/5/16. Blood in the streets.

Warning. If you are going to read this post and are looking for good news, stop. Not going to happen.

Talk about a puke! The S&P 500 along with the rest of the indexs took a dump this week. Just about everything is falling apart and I guess all those early warnings on these daily charts are coming true. Looking at the chart, the support line in red was destroyed and prices just accellerated lower. I was afraid if that support broke, we would be in trouble and it looks like it came true. Volatility rose fast and looks grim. The DMI index at the bottom of the chart is spreading wider to the negative with red solidly on top of green and blue on top of green. Having red and blue on top of green means we are in a solid down turn. If we have another bad week next week, I think all the weekly charts will fire sells. What that means is that all my charts, daily, weekly, and monthly will be sells and everyone should run to safety. BLAH !! let me explain that just a little. If the month was to end today, all monthlys would be a sell. We still have 25 days left to reverse this.

The Small took it really hard this week and things at the moment look very grim here. The DMI is also ugly!

The International is following the S&P and Small Cap lower. Support was broken, volatility rising, and DMI spreading negative. All indexes are confirming together we are heading lower.

Bonds actually didn’t have a bad weekly even though it appears to sink lower. It actually ended with a very small gain and traded mostly sideways. DMI index spread to the negative and volatility is rising. So not much here to love or indicate that maybe things will flatten out and hold.

Conclusion: The daily charts have been indicating for weeks that we were heading lower. So the break in support and the sharp sell off should come as no surprise. Next week is the Presidential election. First note, I’m taking sides nor promoting one over the other. I will say this, if Trump wins, I think we will have a major sell off because of fear. If Clinton wins, I think we will stablizie but rise. She to me represents more of the same and he an unknown.
