Finally a month that almost duplicated the previous year. Last year I earned 2.18% and this year 2.01%. The C had the largest gain for the month at 2.47% and the I-fund once again brought up the rear at .06%. So let’s look at the monthly charts and see if we need to make any adjustments.
Price closed above the 10 period moving average on the S&P500, so the C-fund is still a buy. No change.
Price closed above the 10 period moving average on the Small Cap, so the S-fund is still a buy. No change.
Price closed above the 10 period moving average on Bonds, so the F-fund is still a buy. No change.
Price closed below the 10 period moving average on the International index, so the I-fund is still a sell. No change.
That’s it. My distribution will stay the same, 50-50 C an S. Grand maws money will stay the same, 33% each of the funds that are a buy, C, S, and F.
Hope you all had a great holiday and let’s hope December is also good to our retirement accounts.
