All I can say about today is Wow! This morning before I left for work, I watched some morning news and I had to just turn it off. I said to myself if I listen to much more, I'm going to have to sell all my stocks I have and roll my Retirment Account into nothing but T-bills, (G-fund). I was getting depressed listening to it all. No wonder people can't make decisions and no wonder we make such bad decisions at times.
Let me give you another point of view of the news. When you watch regular TV, not news, just plain ole enntertainment, have you ever seen a commericial? Have you ever heard TV people talk about ratings? Are you starting to see where I'm going here? Look, drama sells! Drama keep you attached to the channel. These TV channels/networks have to make money somehow, so keeping you attached to their stories so you will watch their commercials is very, very, important. Drama sells.
Tomorrow morning when I wake up, my retirement account is going to hit another high in value, and that makes 4 of the last 5 trading days of new highs. I feel very lucky but in the same sense, I feel I'm doing the right thing because I turn off the news and I follow price. I'm not stupid either, I know there will eventually be a price pullback, but when? No one knows, so why guess? I will once again say it, I will wait for price and or my charts to tell me when to bailout.
Today the S-fund or small caps broke through 10% gain year to date. S&P and International are not doing as well, but well enough with my combination to make me 7.95% ytd.
We are getting ready very soon to punch through all time highs and it is going to be very, very interesting to see how the markets react to that information. So until that sell signal starts screaming, enjoy the run!!!!
